Despite finding myself increasingly removed from the anime fandom since the last couple of years, I still have an unbridled hardon for mecha and giant robots.
And thusly... my 1/100 scale model Exia Gundam came in today! :D
That's right... EXIA! Just look at that smooth, sexy motherfucker... name me one, JUST ONE fictitious giant robot that's a finer example of sleek, sexy engineering and flawless aesthetic design.

Beautiful work! I always have a rough time with anything mechanical such as cars or robots. They always look half-assed. Great work on the low angle which makes the two of you look even more intimidating. I'm not very familiar with the fandom. Can you ride him?

You might have to... I don't remember if I told you about this, but I'm busy trying to submit at least one new drawing to this site every day for 30 days in a row... and right here, this is the 25th. :P That tends to eat up a lot of your free time and divert a lot of your attention, in addition to everything else going on in life. xD

Thanks a ton, mah man. :) Actually, I don't draw them very often at all, which I personally find weird, since Mecha anime is pretty much the only form on anime I still watch. So it's good that I got in this practice. :3
I know it's crazy, me proclaiming to be a mecha fan, in ADDITION to having been born in the 80s, and somehow NOT being much of a Transformers fan, but that's me. :P I didn't really get on board the transformers wagon until Beast Machines/Wars came out. Then... THEN that second live action movie came out, and pretty much murdered the franchise for me, in addition to several of my brain cells. xD
I know it's crazy, me proclaiming to be a mecha fan, in ADDITION to having been born in the 80s, and somehow NOT being much of a Transformers fan, but that's me. :P I didn't really get on board the transformers wagon until Beast Machines/Wars came out. Then... THEN that second live action movie came out, and pretty much murdered the franchise for me, in addition to several of my brain cells. xD
Hmmmm... I think it reflect poorly on me as a mecha fan that I had no idea what the frack you were talking about, and had to spend a good five minutes looking it up, wondering why the hell I kept getting pictures of this punk rock band. xD
But yes, oh yes... the Bang Doll be bangin'! A little more ornate that I'd personally like, but excessive melee weaponry nets you huge bonus points in my book. (And thus, the reason why I love Exia here, so much. It's like a fucking porcupine at the back!)

LOL I'm not an encyclopedia of mecha (I generally only like one type which I refer to as "Tankbots". The big masculine ones like many mecha in Gundam [yay Zaku II]. Not the girly ones like in Evangelion [fuck that shit!]).

I always felt mechas were proof of how sexual Japan was, they have always looked like they had huge mechanical bulges in between their legs, ADA from Zone of the Enders, she had a HUGE bulge, almost as if she had a raging, throbbing hardon the entire time, not like that's a bad thing though, I'm just waiting for those hatches to pop open so the tentacles could be set loose, *Squeal*.
But thinking on it, ADA's crotch had two kids in it, overgrown swimmers, I never realized how that could turn out in my head, instead of being disgusted I find it hysterical.
I must say this is some wickedly awesome work dude! The details are beyond sexy, and you did a great job with the perspective, seriously ever since you started this drawing work out your art has just done leaps and humps of improvement, you've always been great but now you're greater, keep up the wonderful work man :D

HMMMM i always loved the mecha in Vision of Escaflowne. Especially Escaflowne... A mecha that transform into a dragon !!!! You can't have more awesome than that XD So in my humble opinion, and the fact that i never got hooked on Gundam so i never really watched it, Escaflowne is better :P But still awesome pic XD
