(Holy shit I posted something.)

So it's a character I'm working on. His name is Synapse. I haven't quite come up with a name for the setting yet. I may write about it.

To make a long story short, he's a berserkr monk who was ritualistically tortured by a cult as a child. After years of being made to feel pain, his psyche split in to two, one that is him, and one that takes on the attributes of the death-god the cult worshiped. When he is not berserk, he is unable to feel his own pain, but has developed a strong sense of psychic empathy and feels the pain of those around him. While in his normal state of mind, he finds no pleasure in pain, whether it be his pain, or the pain of others.

This picture is him in berserk mode, where his alternate personality takes over. In this form he craves pain, and will maim until the pain is too much for him to bear. This makes him dangerous to friend of foe alike.

I am still developing his backstory.
