...so i guess i'm posting old portfolio bits for a few days ...
i've had a few requests over the years to post some of these Martin boards. And since no one wants their new pic page flooded with dozens of pages i made this an animating gif - if i did it right i should be 4sec per page.
i tried a new technique on this series - instead of the usual blue pencil roughs cleaned-up in pencil i did roughs in regular pencil and the clean-up in ink. A little crazy, but it was sooooo fun !
This is from '98-'99ish.
i think this is fair use as a portfolio sample ... ?

Your storyboards look way better than the finished show! They're much more expressive and appealing. And the fact that you were able to render the boards is quite impressive; I would imagine storyboard deadlines are really tight.
I also can't help to ask, but how was it like to work in Martin? (i.e.: Workflow, general environment, etc.)
