Bounding your way on the beach is a big, cream-colored skunk. He's never met you before, but he picks you up in a big hug anyway and introduces himself as Mat (short for Matok, but only his parents call him that). He knows just about everyone at the beach and is always happy to make a new friend, being little more than a kid at heart.
Oh yeah, and he smells like vanilla cupcakes. It's weird. Maybe he doesn't want to offend.
