Ink 20 #17/Story 5: Stormy Afterparty
- It was brought to my attention that I might’ve had a stalker that night.
“What's one more gonna do? I’m in the zone!”, I replied.
Despite me saying that, the party was starting to die out and my boredom was starting to kick in.
The early crackle of thunder caused me to take a glance at the open window,
Allowing me to take notice of a feminine silhouette rushing to leave the place.
Could this be the culprit?
I pondered for a moment and considered my options.
It’d be something to keep me distracted since our designated driver isn’t coming to pick us anytime soon.
With that, my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to go after them
“I should be back before the rain kicks in”, I thought before giving chase.
So, I got wet and lost the target.
I wasn’t all that familiar with this part of town so there I was, halfway in a dark spooky alleyway.
Given the smell, I figured that this one must’ve been quite popular with strays and speaking of those, there was a strangely big one approaching.
I was getting ready to leave it at that and head back but…
Then said stray stood up on its rear legs.
