Primary Verity:
(sigh) "Okay, all is well. If they heard it, they're playing dumb. And, umm. . . Verity?" *rubs Sabretooth's belly* "Blades already has his own Verity."
Sabretooth's Verity:
"Oh. Umm. . . My bad."
This is the thought that's going to cross my mind every single time I see a photo of a qualifying mascot looking down from now on. First it was Thunderbug's Verity celebrating the Stanley Cup win, and now again with Sabretooth's Verity.
But to any mascots out there who may be getting their own Verity in the future: Don't worry. Yours will be coming from Primary Verity, who already knows better. Just make sure to always warn your belly-pets when you're taking them out into public and they'll be just as quiet as you are.
