I haven't really considered revisiting Virus C in a long, long time. It's always been in the back of my mind as it was an AU to Nefarious Affairs, a story completely removed in all ways save the main pair. In this AU, Catt is a Virus (the Virus C) and Flickie was a Hacker. Catt undergoes a "Ghost in the Shell" situation and devises a "soul" and learns how to gain free will and a personality.
