Another bunny? Again, not quite. While she resembles the Kanigai- rabbit-like nature spirits now coexisting with humanity -Flora is something much more sinister. She is an Outsider, manifestations of mankind's malice and hatred. Unlike most Outsiders, though, she is intelligent and capable of speech. As a matter of fact, she's quite cunning and good at manipulating others.

Flora's biology has many similarities to plants. A giant flower grows from an opening in her back, the eye in the center of it allowing her to see behind her. The flower can also transform into a carnivorous plant to swallow unfortunate victims whole. Able to grow plants at will, as well as mutate them to her liking, she can even use special openings in her wrists to grow her floral weapons from her own body is she lacks soil to use.

Flora's greatest weapon is her poison. The insidious purple liquid, usually excreted from the opening in her wrists of from her mouth, can cause permanent nerve damage just by making contact with the skin, and if it enters the body, even a blue whale would die in minutes. Flora is immune to it, as well as all other poisons, making it perfectly safe for her to use in large quantities.

Despite her sinister powers and dark origins, Flora seems to care for the safety of our world... though not necessarily the people in it. Like other Outsiders, she can grow stronger by eating mortal souls, but for some reason, she won't take just any soul. She wants one stronger than all the rest, one that burns with a fiery radiance like no other. And she may have found it in a certain farm boy...
