And that's my civil rights episode of The Life and Times of Robert and Charlie, and my first attempt at a "slice-of-life" story. Honestly, it wasn't easy to write, not just to make it believable as a slice-of-life drama but to try to do justice to what people of color went through in the 60's. I hope it works.
