There is a light within us. A microcosm, a figment of a sun. And what light inside here has come from out there. The microcosm within yearns to connect with the macrocosm without. The stars are out there. How could we not wish to commune?

Our humanity is illuminated by this light. Given enough reasoning it can realize the rings around us. The restraint of the human condition in both body and mind. But without patience, without discipline, our humanity is destined to thrash and scream against these rings until like stone, it will fracture upon them.

Our agony is eerily similar to the hums of abandoned stars. Fallen figments of a greater illumination now left to fall waywardly onto unending horizons. Perhaps then this is why it is our fate to be embraced by otherworldly hands. That of those who too know what is inside is also out there.
