"Hey can you take over?" Nicholas asked his brother as his phone rang.

"Sure." Nathaniel answered in between sips of his coffee.

Nathaniel seamlessly took control of their tail and their walking from his brother as Nicholas answered the call. Even though each brother could only control their own side of their body, with years of practice they learned to walk together. Now it was just a simple matter of agreeing who was in charge and the other would instinctively follow their movements with barely any thought.

Getting to a corner, Nathaniel leaned forward to look around his brother to make sure there was no traffic. He adjusted the length of his stride so that he would be the one who stepped down off the curb. Once they were at the other side, he did the same to step back up onto the sidewalk.

Finally getting to their destination, Nathaniel turned them to face the door. Only having the hand on his side, he skillfully held his coffee while opening the door with a couple fingers and guided the two of them inside.
