After having saved Termina and the surrounding areas from certain doom, Link had taken the time to come clean to Lulu’s former band mates and friends about the fate that had befallen Lulu, and how he took it upon himself to help make Lulu’s final wishes and regrets come true.

The other Zora were shocked by this, and even rather saddened by the truth, and had wondered about what would happen to Lulu’s children without their mother. Eventually, Link agreed and provided that he didn’t want them to go without a mother, and decided to at least stay a while to care for them. Not to mention that due to the mask and lingering spirit, ‘she’ felt connected to the tadpoles.

The one who was most shaken up by all of this, however, was Mikau. He knew deep down that Lulu was gone, but a part of him just couldn’t accept that truth, because she was still walking around, even if she was another person. To let himself fully realize this would lead him into a depression.

Despite this, he decided to help Link out by showing her all of the things that Lulu liked, as well as helping her out with information and knowledge in order to help her better accustomed to her stay with the Zora. Throughout this, he slowly began to realize that Link wasn’t Lulu, as her mannerisms and personalities were indeed different

However, he couldn’t help but find himself becoming attracted to these qualities, and after a while, couldn’t keep himself from revealing his feelings to the Zora girl.
