It was Hayden's very first birthday with Kink Tank lab. They were throwing a real party, and, just like every party with them, it started off fast — it didn't take long for them to go from the birthday cake and the festive toast to their favourite selection of games, entertainment and sillyness. The long awaited time has come — it was time for their presents. Everyone looked forward to it, to find out who's going to give what to the newcomer mouse. The first, the slyest and the quickest of them, was Loah. Seemingly out of nowhere, she pulled out something looking suspiciously like a big penis, covered in gift wrap. The squirrel and the cat both sighed annoyedly in unison. "Every time she pulls something like that..." — thought both of them. Hayden removed the wrap, and inside were three sets of t-shirts and matching panties.
— Happy birthday! Sure, you in it are a present for ME, for the most part, but I'm sure you'll like it as well! They're very nice and soft!
The lab assistant smiled with slight embarrassment and touched one of the t-shirts. The fabric indeed was very nice to the touch.
After her present, it was Vikki's time. It was a small card with a long number on it.
— Here you go, sweetie. Happy birthday. Sometimes, it gets a little... Tense, in here. — she looked at the chemist fox disapprovingly, — And so I thought to give you a monthly pass to my friend's massage place. She's doing a wonderful job, and Loah is banned from there.
The fox pouted dramatically.
— Oh, come on, I just tried to show how it's done. Big deal!
The programmer squirrel was next. She passed her a big jar of coffee.
— I'm not good with speeches... Happy new year, Hayden. That's coffee, all right. I mean, ACTUAL coffee. Not your instant poison.
Hayden took the jar and took a look inside to see the actual coffee beans. Hayden smiled, put the jar on the table and hugged her squirrel friend.
After her gift, it was Richie's turn. It was a pretty compact long box. Expecting something to be off, she carefully opened the box and found a fashionable belt folded in four.
— Happy-B-day-all-that-stuff! I had no idea what to get you as a present, so here's a cool belt. Really classy! And it's soft, too, so it won't rub you on your... Anything, really.

The wolf looked at him with a grin.
— And I take it you tried that on yourself?
— Oh, but of course! Two whole times, yeah. Not gonna prove it, anyway.
The biologist stepped aside and let him take his turn. It was a small wrapped cylinder. He couldn't keep himself from her cuteness and his own impatience, watching as she opens the wrap and waiting to see her reaction. And it looked like the naive Hayden didn't at once understand what she's holding.
— Pepper spray! Just be careful with it, all right? You're such a dandelion, even daytime doesn't help from worrying about you.
Still not having figured it out, the mouse inspected her present and looked at the wolf inquiringly.
— Put it somewhere close to yourself. And if some jackass would cling to you...
— And..? — Hayden clearly struggled to understand what she's supposed to do.
— And... Damn, really? Such a dandelion. Don't worry, I'll show you and train you. On this guy! — he grabbed the hyena in jest, making him blush.
— You what? What are ya planning there, huh?
— You are going to help me train our lab mouse. Aren't you a perfect clingy jackass for it!
Pushing both of them aside lightly, the lynx mechanic approached her and gave her his present — a big soft hoodie. He looked around for the colleagues' reaction, and almost blinked self-supportingly.
— Look! It's yours now. And you can cut the giggling. Comfy, right?
Hayden touched the soft hoodie and put it on like a cape, tying the sleeves around her neck and putting the hood on her ears.
— It's very comfy! Thanks! — she smiled, — Really, thank you, guys! Such a lot of presents...
— Let's try them all right now! — the fox bolted up, holding one of her sets, — We gotta try it! And see it!
The wolf pulled her back.
— Leave the girl alone, will ya! Or she'll try MY present on you first, and you won't see anything!
— Uh huh, and end up in my cabinet, dear. Again. — the medic cat grinned, — And just for that occasion, I'll forget where everything is.
— Oh, come on! That's a reasonable thing! — the hyena sided with his friend, — Look just how many clothes she got! Can't she try them on for once?
— Well... I can... — she mumbled.
— That's what I'm talking about! Come on, grab them, go change into them, and we'll wait here!
He handed her the clothes, accompanied her to the door and closed it behind her.
