Warbred Beast Form Anatomy Breakdown
A basic breakdown for how the plating works on a Warbred. While they resemble insects or insectoids, they have some very clear differences; such as having hearts, lungs, proper endoskeletons, proper blood vessels, and tough scutes made of bone beneath their thick, tough chitin armor in places.

I love the design too! As I read this I kept going "aww". Like when you mention protecting their head, I was thinking "Yes, head must be protected, nothing must happen to the cutie." And then "yes, breathing is important for lovely creature". X3

Oh same! I ADORE monsters of all sorts. xD Warbred were bred and designed to fight and kill, including being partially designed to take down Astrans if needed, but the king that created them also bred them to be obedient. A gene connected to the same one that made them more obedient and easy to work with also made them lazy and docile as well so they are surprisingly friendly if they aren't being ordered to be soldiers. A Warbred is more likely to just chill and talk than attack, unless ordered otherwise.
