Up next in the Team Katswell Character Guide is another of Jack and Malmsteen's henchmen, the big, burly gator with the artificial jaw, Hinge-Jaw Gator.

Hinge-Jaw uses his namesake artificial jaw to chomp through really hard surfaces like concrete, stone, steel, and lead. He's also a powerful street brawler, and has rock-hard abs to help protect him from even the strongest of blows.

Bio:
Before he was Hinge-Jaw Gator, he was a ruthless crook named Albert Kronis. Growing up in a rough neighborhood in the seedy part of Petropolis, California, he had to learn how to be tough, or be destroyed in the process. As he got older, Albert became one of the meanest and roughest criminals Petropolis has ever seen. Whatever he liked, he took without ANY remorse. He was SO tough, that even TUFF's best agents had a difficult time trying to apprehend him for his crimes. No matter what they tried, Albert was TOO much for them. For a time, he thought that he was untouchable.
That was until one day, when a mysterious figure came to Albert, and asked him to retrieve a hidden stash of money hidden in a steel mill by Sean Connery Katswell right before he died. Seeing how he'll do anything for money, Albert agreed, and went to the mill. Once there, he searched the place high and low, but never found any money. It wasn't long before he discovered that the place wired to explode. Once the charges went off, Albert got caught in the blast, losing his lower jaw. The authorities were able to arrive on the scene, and discovered Albert lying on the ground. They immediately picked him up, and rushed him to prison on the double.
The prison doctors had to move quickly if they were to save Albert's life. So, out of the strongest metal they could find, they fashioned an artificial steel jaw to replace the one he lost. The operation was a success, and when Albert woke up in the hospital the next morning, he was shocked to see his new jaw. As time went, he was the talk of the cell block, and he quickly discovered that his new jaw was strong enough to penetrate the toughest of surfaces, including concrete and lead. Jack Rabbit thought this could be useful, and offered Albert a spot on his criminal gang if he could use his jaw to help him escape from prison. He did just that, and soon, he became part of Jack's gang, now going by the criminal name "Hinge-Jaw Gator."
A year or so later, Jack formed an alliance with Lady Malmsteen, and Hinge-Jaw was offered to join her in her criminal pursuits. He then assisted her in kidnapping the contestants for the Miss Petropolis pageant so she can drain their essence and drink it to stay young and beautiful. When Team Katswell intervened, and rescued the hostages, their residence crocodilian, Niles Crocston, went up against Hinge-Jaw, and used his croc-wrangling know-how to subdue him. Hinge-Jaw chomped through Niles' Bowie knife, but Niles was able to out-muscle his incredible strength, and claim victory. Then, after Malmsteen pinned the blame on the Team's butler, Rocky, and flee the crime scene, Hinge-Jaw was taken back to prison, and has developed a deep hatred for Niles ever since.
Personality & Traits:
Hinge-Jaw was born bad, and loves every minute of it. He'll be glad to bash anyone's skull, and take anything of value without even giving it a second thought. This was probably due to the fact that he grew up in a rough neighborhood, and had to learn how to fend for himself or die. So, Hinge-Jaw is a ruthless criminal, and is ideal for many criminal masterminds to hire him.
Hinge-Jaw also gets along very well with the rest of Jack's gang except for Redd Snapper, who he sees as more uncivilized than him. Even while on the Lady M gang, he still keeps in touch with his fellow crooks, particularly Gorilla Warfare and Boulder Rhino, who are just as brutish as him. Lady Malmsteen often sees him as the big bruiser of her gang, and often uses him as her bodyguard whenever she's out and about in Petsylvania. He doesn't mind it, though.
While he's big and powerful, Hinge-Jaw has the "brawn over brains" mentality when it comes to fighting. Because of this, he tends to get tricked easily, and often underestimates his opponents. Also, his artificial jaw rusts when it gets moist, making it ineffective in battle on occasion. But, no matter what, Hinge-Jaw Gator is still bad to the bone, and enjoys it no matter what.
So, that's Hinge-Jaw Gator for "TUFF: Team Katswell."
