white primer (future models will simply have black primer), Charadon Granite (foundation paint), Chaos Black fatigues, rifle, & panel lines; lenses are snot green, goblin green, and scorpion green with gloss varnish; the base is sand mixed with elmer's glue, washed with devlan mud while it was still wet, then drybrushed with Dheneb Stone.
Heh... you have some tau on your account, bro- just letting you know. The smell is 'for the greater good' after all :P
Joking aside, good model, solid panelling and the glass/gemwork is fantastically done. You need to do more Eldar instead- they suit your gem-fu better :)

It's simple, really; black basecoat, a large crescent of the darker color, then a smalled, inner crsecent of the intermediate color, then keep going that way all theway up to the lightest color your's gonna use. Add a dot or two of white for the shine/reflection, as well as a coat of gloss varnish to add the shine :P
