Remember the 1971 Toho "Godzilla vs The Smog Monster" film? Hedorah was brought to Earth by a a meteorite and became a lethal poisonous toxic monster that threatened all life on Earth,until Godzilla came to face and destroy the alien borne pollution threat from space.

Here are my own drawings of the early stages of Hedorah,first the sludge meteorite that fell into the Ocean,then the odd giant Tadpole creature,and the blob-like salamander that appeared on land and sucked poisonous black smog from factory smokestacks and grew to unbeliveably huge size until it was met and fought by Earth's defender,Godzilla.
