This technically isn't the first thing I've drawn this year, but this kinda is the first one I'm posting from this (rather terrible) year.

I did this for a friend on a suggestion, not to mention I still owe them a better done drawing. My excuse there is, me wanting to do a better background and how I (still, despite my practice) suck at them.

I keep forgetting to just tell myself to 'f-ck it' and just go for it, fu-ks up all.

Which is why this is a thing, and I may do more shading/tinting work, but I want to work on getting more basic things sorted out.

Or maybe I'll not post for another year, we'll see.
