I'm so glad I can finally draw these two interacting, at last. They are the protagonists of the story, after all. ^^
In case you are wondering why Shadi had to stay at home during her heat, it's because she lives in a VERY sketchy part of town. As a young, tiny woman who lives alone, letting random people know her real gender can be dangerous. It's dangerous enough as it is.
Also, the mysetery of the skeletons in the streets some people noticed in one of the previous pages is finally solved. XD

I'm in love with the colors Olaff, they are so sandy and really deliver some dry desert atmosphere. And yes, it´s always fun do have answers with so little information, cause that all we need to know (the skeletons) ...the rest is up to each reader to imagine. Those subtle exchanges add so much to the story with so little on the lines. Fantastic!
Also, with Nasir´s first line, I can really hear some raspy cat voice coming from him XDDD

So Cute!!!!!! They have such an interesting chemistry together. I look forward to seeing more of it. And yeah hiding during her heat cycle is definitely a wise move for Shadi. She's a cute one and there are too many slimes in the area. Bet it would be funny if someone found out and kept trying to woo her out of her pants! Also how do females normally deal with it, if they arn't married?
I am loving the banter and the glow these two have for each other. Their bond is wonderful and it's lovely how they are so happy. I like how you've lit up the street in that warm golden glow, and given it that tired aged look with the cracks. You've really given a history to the place. We can tell Shadi has learnt to survive in the most trying of worlds and is such a strong character. The more we see and learn of her, the more I admire her. Well done😍😎😍😎👍
Wow heat cycle drama! I actually admire you getting so real. For my naakaanee people, when the women fall into ovulation, the single males retreat to one side of the Forest, the females to the other side. Married couples, well. Let's just say there are a lot of new children in the following months =) They call it the "Time of Loving" and is basically a month of insatiable list, passion, and... Soreness lol.
Aww, Nasir and Shadi's interactions are so precious! Love their little head bump in the second panel. ;) It's pretty sad that Shadi considers a run-down part of the town where plague ravaged only a couple years ago to be 'safe' - makes you wonder what are the conditions in the other parts of the town are... :o
Also, I love the warm tones of this page as the sun drenches the street - the way it plays off Shadi and Nasir's fur is simply magical. :)
