Not feeling so good today so I asked for requests for FFXIV NPCs on my twitter, Haurchefaunt the good ol' boy jumped out at me first.
He was one of the first NPCs I really cared for since he was so kind and nice during ARR and was such a wonderful companion in HW.
He really cared about the WoL and was so awestruck by them but still treated them as human, more than a god-killing weapon.
He was a gentle yet strong and somewhat melancholic knight character...
I love side characters like that ;v;

Coincidentally, with my WoL Quinnen (who has a husband), I embraced self indulgence and unrequited-love-ship Haurchefaunt with him...and Emet-Selch
Also...just to complicate matters more, I freaking adore Ardbert so much...I had to have a deep connection between him and Quinnen...
