This is one of many designs I've gone through trying to figure out how Tengoku Tanuki looks. I'll keep the leaf necklace and sake jug. The earlier designs looked younger and fatter with stubby legs that wouldn't be suited for martial arts.

I see him as a character who uses the self disapline of kung-fu to help master his art of transformation which requires great concentration.
