I dont talk about this much (or at least publicly) but I cut gems using sandpaper.
I just wanted to share this with everyone. (Probably not the right place to but hey why not)

I spent about 3 separate days cutting this piece maybe took about 6 or so hours total using 80, 120, 180 and 1500 sandpaper to shape and polish this interesting piece of Orange Calcite.

Really like how it turns out (despite breaking a couple of times but that’s what glue is for) and im definitely gonna run around and show it off to complete strangers XD.
