Looking at the background I name her a tauren... I have a cow friend who gets offended when called a tauren, so I guess it works both ways.

Well. Calling Tauren an Anthro Cow is like calling a Human a Monkey.

Well since "COW" denotes gender, we can call her an anthro cow, kinda like how female elephants and dragons are also cows and female rabbits are does.

I think the correct term would be bovine or tauren if we were going species.

I absolutely love this picture. Also, you did a great job with the lighting...effect...thing? Looks a bit like the so-called "HDR" bloom in games. Fits this pic perfectly. Good job.

It's a place in World Of Warcraft known as 'Bloodhoof Village', the water she's in is called 'Stonebull lake'
It's that race's "beginner" village, the next step up is 'Thunder Bluff', which is their city
