Writemaster93 over on Deviantart posted a cute series of snippets recently for his fanfic universe in which Finster's got a grandson named Fritz. He asked if I'd draw them for his birthday, so I did him a 15-minute quickie (complete with errors). I think Finster's doing his best to relate to him by sharing his own interests, and the poor kid doesn't really know wtf.



Fritz: Grandpa? Why is it all of your monsters have ridiculously-exploitable flaws?

Finster: Because if I actually did what Rita asked me to and made a creature that destroyed the Rangers, I'd be out of a job. See what I'm doing there?

Fritz: Intentionally making an idiot of yourself and a mockery of your craft?

Finster: .... ¬_¬ You've been speaking to Goldar again, I see...
