Since Avatar came out a lot of people compare other's work and say " YOU RIPPED OF AVATAR" or " this looks like avatar"
Well shit, how many people say "hey avatar looks like your stuff"?
I think beast of oblivion got hit hard after the movie....but it still applies to many artist that have had their own things for years...

Yeah, I can see how Theus' work would get attacked for Avatar. Her lithe critters and their colors and some of her inspirations from fish and glowing things. Avatar has copyright on glowies, didn't ya know? Also, they had pre-emptive copyright on all things with more than 4 legs, things that glow and cat people. *nod nod* Also, aliens.

And people who create avatar can't copyright their own plot... because it's totally stolen from pocahontas, I mean that even there have 1 to 1 copied scenes, so, avatar is not so original after all, just well made with computer fx, glowing stuff everywhere and nothing more. :) haha
I hope this is a compliment and not an insult, but the second picture actually reminded me more of the puppets in The Dark Crystal. Obviously not like they look tons a like, but the facial structure sorta, the eyes, expression in the top picture, and messy hair...I dunno. >.< I hope I'm not offending you...

b-but the characters themselves look nothing alike cept for maybe, agian maybe, the eyes. so if anyone thats blue and has military gear on will remind them of movies?

Like I said, Cameron's got blue covered (I have another species that looks nothing like cats and are blue, but I'm sure they'd get accused of being Na'vi rips... even though I made them like 10 years back when cameron was still in the preproduction phase and didn't even have concepts yet)
