Ah, where do I start with this?
Okay, so I made MORE characters for this increasingly large AU of mine. This is a cry for help-

After making Shinichi (previously named "Shinji"), I ran into the Ōkami on Wikipedia and the sad plight of the Japanese and Hokkaido wolves, and I guess I decided I didn't have enough canines in my series as well as enough wolf characters in the world, so what the hell, right?

Well, I have Rare™ Japanese Wolf Ōkami, so... that's... kinda unique??

As usual, I bended their lore because I want cute ghostly forest animals, not stalkerish, murderous, perverted creeps of nature. 😐 (Don't get me wrong; I like to kill people. 🔪 What? I'm a monster!)

Long story short (my finger hurts from typing so much in such a short amount of time-), Legend foretold of the great wolf spirit of Japan. Hanako was the yokai spirit protector of the Japanese Wolves of olden times. Allegedly. She has a bright, pretty coat of gold and white. It was a sight to behold! (I wouldn't know, not even my great ancestors were born yet. 😶) The wolves grew too cocky and ignored her warnings about the humans. How they would grow angry and turn against them. They continued hunting their flocks and chickens and pigs and ducks and- *salivates* *gets smacked* OW! Okay! Anyway, they pissed off the farmers. So, they got hunted by the hundreds. She tried to stop the humans, but it was too late. The last wolf fell and she lost her mystical powers, becoming a regular yokai like the rest of us. Her pelt turned into a soft mixture of browns, not unlike that of a Japanese Wolf, actually! She hides herself in the mountains, not wanting to be seen by the humans who would hunt her...
(Oh wait, she tried to kill the hunters at some point, too, right? Right? And, then they wanted to kill HER, so THAT'S why she fled?)

She won't admit if the tale is true, but then again, Danzaburou-danuki was a real tale, so I believe she's just hiding it from us...

Nowadays, she just teaches us younger yokai how to use our powers (like my bad skills at transforming...)! She's like our cool, but serious grandma! 😃
