Honestly...i am kind torn about the new animaniacs. There is lot going against the show...considering that is passed lot of times and lot of things changed and new things came and go, doing the same thing they did 20 years ago could not cut it, but seem this is not the case. So there is still hope, that if going well we could see the rest of the animanics cast coming back.
Before you would be scared to call her Dottie.
With what PC culture and feminists have done, you can get away with calling her that.
The reboot takes no risks, they don't make humor to be funny, they don't make humor at all.
And anime style actually limits what can be done to you. With the original animations, you get crushed by a piano made from anvils and TNT, just for calling her dottie.

I don’t know the show that much (apart from clips and all, rarely got to watch episodes online), but I was afraid it’d just be them...but in a more modern setting. At least they get to actually interact and satirize their more “advanced” world. XD (especially if it means going to the lengths of referencing anime. XD)
