Nera's response was drowned out by the scarf she had just pulled up over her mouth, just under her nose. Though Amenii clearly caught the words 'freezing, and seeing her breath.'
Amenii just smiled, Nera always got a little testy when the seasons started to shift. It would take her at least another month or so begin to adapt to the cooler temperatures. Until then, she knew it was going to be a constant battle over the thermostat for the foreseeable future.
'Maybe we should get you a warmer coat.' Prodding the hyena with her elbow she smiled. 'And maybe a few more sweaters.'
'Mmmmrhrr Mrehrr mmmh.'
'Socks too? Well, maybe some leggings - those would look nice on you.'
'Mmmm...'
'Me, I'm fine.'
