no.10: Plague Knight - Shovel Knight

This works right? He's totally a doctor, right? Not a knight or an alchemist. He's a plague doctor! Totally.

Okay so I'll admit, this is the biggest stretch I had to make to force a character into this year's lineup but with all things considered in the state of the world today, I absolutely had to include a plague doctor somewhere! I simply just don't know of any that are legitimate characters other than Plague Knight, so here he is... I mean, to be fair, he's closer to a doctor anyway, which isn't saying much as he's barely a knight but for the sake of argument I'll keep him pretty low on the list to make up for it.

Well, whether he's a doctor or a knight or whatever, Plague Knight was a character destined to be put into one of my Halloween Countdowns eventually. He fits my aesthetic way too much so I guess it was sooner rather than later, plus now I won't feel so bad about having to choose either him or Specter Knight for another lineup!

So yeah. Here he is in all his manic glory and just remember kids, even a stark raving mad gremlin like Plague Knight wears a mask, you can too!
