Ink 20 #21/Story 9: Pleasant sleep
- I haven’t got sleep this good in ages,
and without my earmuffs nonetheless.
My everything is giving off a real nice muscle tingle, not unlike how it felt to race race back when I was on the running team….
Back before it all became too easy, at least.
All of this feels so surreal.
A tantalizing warm scent was rubbing my nose, compelling every hair on my body to stand up;
almost as if to add to the near blissful experience I’m currently dealing with.
As the grogginess was beginning to leave my body, an odd question immediately popped up in my mind:
“Was the bed always this tilted?—"
