What value would gods find in gold and jewels anyway? They're just shiny metals and rocks that are only somewhat rarer than other, less shiny metals and rocks.
After all, value is ultimately an imaginary concept applied to arbitrary objects to represent abstracts such as the exchange of labour for goods and services. In the modern world, we trade pieces of paper and numbers in an electronic database to represent value. Objectively they're all worthless.

Hard work, and it shows ! I'm absolutely sure I will enjoy the rest if the story, I always like your comics a lot ! <3
I don't know what's so striking with that last pannel, I can't just put my figer on what it is. But it really sent shivers in my spine when I saw it, maybe a sort of mix of various feelings it shows, like a mix of mischievous jest with a pinch of patronizing... IDK really my reptilian brain just bugged and was like "Oh gosh, yes, patronize me more please ma'am" xD Yeah sry I'm weird lol

I'm happy you pointed it out! :D I made his eyes VERY big to be able to express even the slightest emotions much easier. And I brightened them to make them stand out in the dark. (As we see ,in fact, the darkness is also beneficial for Luna too because her light is maximally visible. )
"Your friends are not the finest thieves I have ever met."
Why does something about the way she says that and her pose with her hands steepled like that seem weirdly intimidating? Like she's comparing this gang of snot nosed punks with the audacity to think they can pull one over on her against the greatest thieves and highwaymen in all of history.
Probably while thinking "Boy, your friends are lucky I'm an endless well of love and compassion for all living things in this world because if I wasn't I might just decide to teach them a lesson in proper thieving technique the hard way. Seriously, who do they think they are, trying to pull the old "throw the monkey in front of the carriage" scam on me of all people? Do they think I was born yesterday? That's the oldest trick in the book and I should know because I was around when they put it into the book. In fact I knew the girl who wrote the book and if she were here she could steal every scrap of clothing off your friends backs faster than they could say "why do I suddenly feel a draft?".

Hehe, of course she knew. XD
And why do i have the feeling that she not only will talk Tristan into leaving his "friends" for good? I have a feeling that he will probably join her on her journeys to learn from her to life normal and not like a thief anymore. (What whould be the BEST what can happen to him at the momend!)

I'm very glad you like Luna and her personality, and that you find this story good already, despite it still being just the prologue. ^^
My husband writes all the stories, but of course there are a lot of things we work out together :) I don't think we could say anything special about writing stories. We read a lot, and always try to learn from every finished comic, what we did good, what should be improved in the next one. But there is one thing we always make sure of: we only start comics when the whole story is completely written, so we'll know at the start where and how the whole story should end :)
