Interesting poem. It describes really well the madness of war, the pointlessness of the whole thing. Still, your poem reaches almost a playful tone, after the part with the air-raid.
"Run away now, before the infantry take you"
This felt almost line: "Ready or not, here I come" to me. Maybe it's just my twisted imagination. The details with the radio are also somehow out of place, giving more deranged feeling to the poem. But, the basic message is the madness of war. And that is a message I can agree with. To me, war represents the inability of politicians.
Anyway, nice little piece, I enjoyed reading this and the poem has a good message. Well written.
