I really enjoy this piece a lot. Its so realistic, I love the Sun, the background blurred and focused on the fag =P. What it means... its the 'n word' for gays. It means 'a stick to kindle a fire with' referencing when gays were burned at the stake back in the past. AND nowadays it is seen in the popular culture as a stereotype phrase by which they can heap the worst of depravities upon, make a scapegoat. I HATE the word. It implies we have no souls... it deprives us of our humanity.

I'm sorry I am a little bitter. I live in the deep south and I cannto escape the stereotype here. Plus I have no gay friends here sicne all I have met happily fill the slut/bitch/sassyboy stereotype happily. I am so not it and I am trying so much to escape it. I cannto stand how straight accuaintances, through acceptign of my sexual preference, consantly make reference to my gayness for humor. I listen to metal, dress in drab closthes, atore classical art, abhor materialism and urban cluture, hate going out to nightclubs or parties, do no drugs whatsoever, talk like myself and nto in some bubbly stilted voice, and desire a long term relationship. I dont resent gay people for being different than me, I jsut wish they had seom higher standards. I also wish straight people would stop lookign at me like a novelty and recognize my love is just as meaningful as is their for their life-partner.
