Nubs has discovered his new favorite position: sandwiched in the gap between the wall and his house. He will sleep vertically, and eat in that way. Sometimes he just chubs himself in there and chills out like "¦> dis is nice".
Is this normal hamster behavior? Or is Nubs just stupidly hilarious ;_;
Also I when I was cleaning his cage out on monday, I let him run around the bathtub instead of putting him in his travel cage, and he was so confused. WHAT IS THIS VAST, WHITE SPACE THAT I CANNOT CRAWL OUT OF?

When one of the Moms I took in had her pups all five of them decided to it would be amazing to sleep a few inches off the ground stuffed between their wall and their house thing. Before I figured out where they were hiding I flipped out. OH GOD THEIR ALL OUT OF THE CAGE KGVBDJHWDGBWHDBJEW.
I have a teddy bear hamster and he likes to cram himself between the cage wall and the wheel. I didn't even think he'd fit, lol. I guess hamsters like to feel snug. What's your hamster's temperament like? I wanted to get one like that, but I was told they were nippy and grouchy little guys.
My hamster Stroke did this a lot.
Usually he'd sleep wedged between the glass wall and a chewy-play house thing or curled up in his food dish. +++when I'd clean his cage I'd just put him in the bath tub and he'd be like: WOOOOOAH kinda attitude c: <3
