I agree, I like it as a Pokemon the most so far, though really, I wait to pass judgment on all 3 myself till I see their evolutions. xP

Though I don't know why they decided to call him a grass snake instead of a lizard. I mean, even if snakes DID evolve from lizards going to living underground millions of years ago and arms and legs became useless sorta and snakes formed in their place more or less, don't see much of a reasoning behind it. x3

Could be a pun on 'glass snake', which is actually just a legless lizard more than a snake.

Perhaps this is a snake with legs more than a lizard?

Or maybe the japs are, as totally awesome they are, are totally batshit insane? XD

Who knows though, I am waiting on their evolutions, all I know is that the creatures are looking more and more like digimon then pokemon in this generation as it goes here and there. x3

I can't remember where I saw it, but Japanese chibi snakes were apparently draw with arms and legs.
Which also explains a Japanese "grass snake" mascot that had arms and legs.
