Character portrait for the Flits, a trinary system (including Ketta, Lil'e, and Hetty) who appear in our graphic novel and prose fiction the Sunspot Chronicles. They are the friends of the Pembers, a much larger system.

The Flits live on a gigantic interstellar generational starship called the Sunspot, and are part of a group of adolescents who are given the opportunity to be fitted with nanite based Network terminals (a form of neural link or data jack). This new for of terminal allows them all to manifest separately on the Network and interact independently with the outer world, bypassing the bottleneck of their own body.

Their body has many traits that are reminiscent of a gila monster.
