Oh such a wonderful drawing. you never stop to amaze me. Very nicely done. And the dragon is wonderful too of course.
Good idea with the wing claw. So the sites of the book would not get dirty should there he any dirt left on the paws. But surely he keeps them clean nevertheless.
Now I want to visit the library .

The problem with using wings is that the tips of the fingers themselves are so splayed apart it's impossible to clasp anything unless the wing is furled, and bringing the arm forward spreads the fingers. Plus, using the spur claw can have a nasty habit of tearing pages if one isn't very, veeeery gentle with the edge... :-D
Oh heavens. Total, total fave. I love this idea. I love my volumes, even just spending time among the scent of them, running a wing-finger along the shelves, taking one down -- perhaps an old, familiar friend -- and flicking through the pages. Knowing that at any time I will be welcome among them again, and they, patient as print, don't worry if I don't read from them right now... I will always, always return.
Oh, gosh. This is wondrous.
