The giant manta ray (Manta birostris) can reach sizes of 20 feet across, and, lacking any stinging spines, is completely harmless to humans. They have also been known to launch themselves out of the water, and have the largest brain-to-body ratio of all the sharks and rays. I just think they're such beautiful and interesting creatures, which is why I decided to use them for my test bookmark.

This is an example of the bookmarks I'm now offering as a type of commission. Like this one, they'll all be approx. 8in x 2in and can be of any subject you like. I can draw pretty much any animal, or I can put your character on one. The kinds of media available are Derwent colored pencil, a combo of Derwent colored pencil and watercolor, or just ink and pencil (black and white). I can also attach (glue) little gems and other things as accessories. If you want one, they will be on thick Vellum Bristol cardstock, and, even with gems and such, are only $8. No shipping charge either :) So please let me know if you're interested!!

This particular one is Derwent colored pencils and watercolor on 8in x 2in sketchbook paper. The manta on the bottom has 3 little gems on his back. If you'd like this one, it's only $6 since it's only on regular sketchbook paper. However, if you want it to be a little more sturdy, I can back it with a thin piece of cardboard for an extra $1. Again, no shipping charge.
