So why are banned banned

banned were not intended to exist in the current reality

before time was finalized, the heirs workshopped a lot of ideas, and as gods/narrators/heirs, the act of proposing something was sufficient to bring it into existence, as the need to describe the idea to the other heirs would also, by the act of describing it, DESCRIBE it that is create it within a set of limitations and bring it into existence

at one point, a race of robots were proposed, but were considered too out-there for the consistency of the setting, and it was necessary to keep the universe at least somewhat on the same page to prevent it from collapsing from tonal dissonance

therefore, the banned were never implemented into the final build of reality, but their concepts persisted in inaccessible space

sometimes, glitches occur and banned Go Canon, they and chunks of their alpha-reality falling into the real reality

at this point, well, they exist fair and square, and the world doesn't actually seem to be falling apart, so they're allowed to exist all the same, but as a species they were never intended and intentionally excluded from existing at the beginning of time
