This was done from a photo of my cat. In the winter of 2009 he got outside and never came home. This was one of the first pictures I did in watercolor class. Sadly, it was the first time I used mask out and wish I had a little more control over it around his whiskers. All and all, this was the start of dealing with my loss.
And if you are wondering what is around his head and neck, it's a cat jester costume that I got from Petsmart.
I'm sure this won't be the last picture I do of him.
