Voretober Day 23!
A gift for my friend
baxtergreen. Baxter is a friendly sort, it's just that small fuzzy things tend to look an awful lot like food to him. And he's big enough that his meals tend to be quick. So quick, the aforementioned small fuzzy thing may not even notice what happened, especially if they were distracted by a text conversation when it happened.
Now Bax, his stomach full, casually strolls home, dinner taken care of. Anyone who walks by probably won't even realize anything is amiss: they'll just see a big, happy newfie out for a walk.
Ask me questions on my Curious Cat! Feel free to ask questions to either me or one of my characters.
If you're so inclined, I'd much appreciate it if you'd buy me a coffee!

I particularly like the look on Baxter's face. As you said, he looks like a big happy fellow out for a walk. There's not a hint of guilt or remorse in his manner for ending a fellow citizen's life. If she didn't want to be dog food, she should have have paid more attention. What's a newfie like him supposed to do when he sees a luscious young mouse with her muzzle buried in her phone, her back to him and no one else around?
