Part of this is probably the speakers I'm using to listen to this (laptop speakers), but it sounds like the mix could be mastered a bit better. The upper strings carrying the rhythmic accompaniment seem jarring to the rest of the work and end abruptly, as if they should be helping carry another line somewhere. I would rather hear those upper strings mixed lower and the line they are accompanying mixed to the fore.
