You have an articulated jaw so you can obey the fursuit law of being able to talk while you have the character head on (as long as the mouth moves when you talk). I know/knew an animatronics engineer who would make a servo that ran jaws based on audio fed into them, these things actually would fit in the cheek... He used to advertise in CineFX, Lipski I think was his name.
