Disney presents "The Maid and the Telepath" (by Pra...
Original by the great Pram.
There is a saying among Intelligence agencies: "Give'm The Maid('s) treatment" which is a known code for basically "take care of someone Doomguy-style". Marian "The Maid" Hood has definitely and rightfully earned this reputation as anyone who has witnessed her work can attest.
While her civilian identity is genuinely that of a caring, loving mother and retired actress, this hides a buff badass warrior with no superpowers but tons of pragmatism and simple but practical gadgets and decades of activity have only made her even deadlier and stronger.
While part of an intelligence agency squad that isn't technically allied with Krystal's own squad, Marian is fully loyal to her daughter figure and won't hesitate to prevent any harm from happening to her, even if it means disrupting her group's current mission, like that time she was assigned in assisting and getting intel from a Sith informant, only to instantly turn on him when she found out he had captured and tried and failed to mind-probe Krystal for said intel, The Maid using the advantage of Dark Side Force users always gloating and doing fancy saber stances before a fight to start putting arrows into his body before even letting him finish. Fancy spinning and jumping didn't do him much good either and the fight was short.
Afterwards, Marian helped Krystal escape and covered her own tracks by using her protégé's staff to vaporize the body to make it look like the Cerinian broke free by herself and killed him before she arrived. She even later had the audacity to lie to her higher-ups, even chastising them for thinking going after the apprentice she personally trained was a good idea and making her waste her time by not telling her, as she'd have known Krystal would have escaped before she arrived.
When you mess with the Maid's friends, you have to prepare for the consequences.
