Haha, I remember doing that with crayons when I was a kid. Nope, using the magic of Photoshop, you can draw with bright colors straight onto black. Like paint pens. Though sometimes I might do it all in one color first and go over it with other colors, like coloring in a scratchboard drawing with markers or paint.
