Metallica, the heavy metal band, was founded back in 1981 in L.A. (California) by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. It's considered one of the "big four" bands of trash metal along with Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer. The band is currently formed by the founders Hetfield (vocalist/guitarist) and Ulrich (drummer), Kirk Hammett (guitarist) and Robert Trujillo (bass guitar). Metallica has released ten studio albums, four live albums, a cover album, five extended plays, 37 singles and 39 music videos and has sold more than 125 million albums worldwide, with over 65 million records in the United States alone. Past members include Dave Mustaine (co-founder of Megadeth), Ron McGovney (left the band in 1982 and later played in the thrash metal band Phantasm), Jason Newsted (bassist from 1986 to 2001) and Cliff Burton. Burton died back in 1986, aged 24, in a bus accident. Metallica dedicated a song called "Fade to Black" in his loving memory. In that song Hetfield, co-founder of the band, yells: "Can you hear us Cliff?"

I'm not a huge fan of Metallica but there's a friend which is, so I have done this piece as a gift for them for being a fan of Metallica. I also submit this piece as a gift for TheF0xDen , a fox-related group.
