If there's one thing I'm not doing enough with my Harvey Comics redraws it's sketches with their lighthearted approach to ghosts passing through things. The books are replete with body-comic-horror and I've always been a sucker for that. So here's a panel from page 199 in that hefty Dark Horse reprint from a decade ago, the hundreds-of-pages of Casper books. The page originally appeared --- this is a bit complicated --- in Casper the Friendly Ghost #24, a story titled 'Easy as Eskimo Pie'. In that story, Casper helps out the artist drawing the Casper the Friendly Ghost comics by telling him stories that can be turned into comic panels. Got that? So it's not just that Casper casually passes through objects but also through the fourth wall. Neat stuff. In the original someone tried to put a top hat on Casper and it worked for only a brief moment, because the rules for what Casper-class ghosts can pass through are very situational and prone to sudden change.
