The moslems you respect are assimilated. If you want to see pure unassimilated Islam, go the rural areas, away from the Western-contacting big cities. You'll find everything up to and including revenge murder -and CANNIBALISM !
I have an old book ,an obsolete encyclopedia ,that claimed that Islam is bankrupt ,heavily in debt to outside peoples -and would soon become extinguished. The author, long dead, would cry if he was brought back to see how it is today ! Still, the 18th century Calvinist preacher Rev. John Brown, said in his book (which I also have) that Islam is schelduled to go out of existence in 2016. THAT has me wondering....
I just hope that whatever happens will not take me with it.
