no.7: Faust - Guilty Gear

Little fact about myself. I love fighting games. Another fact about myself. I suck at them. Despite that, I do have a handful of fighting games I've really gotten into and Guilty Gear has always been one of them and a good 99% of the time, if I was playing, it was with Faust. He just really hits all my buttons, hilariously manic yet weird and eerily off putting.

Faust is another prime example that just because your mad doesn't mean you have to be bad and I love that about him. Sometimes I like a good guy to just be flat out bat shit crazy, is that so wrong? Why not put all that mania to good use, and really I don't think we've fully focused on the 'mad' part of 'mad doctor' as much as we could have in this countdown yet, have we? Eccentric, off kilter and yes, crazy but not to a point that it's at the fore center of their character but with Faust, he's as mad as a hatter! He truly puts the 'mad' in 'mad doctor' and I couldn't do this countdown without him!
