unlike common spiders, the arachnid people were well known for their formidable sight. he fought in many wars and although aged, Raknar was still a cunning fighter in latter years of the valkyrian homeworld.
his deeds during the last great war against the Jotun race earned him a place as court marshal at Wotan's court.

he was among the fellowship that was send out to seek and find the legendary blade called Chaosedge, to defend his homeworld from the Aengels. with the help of another sword, Skyshade, they began their search. little did they know that these swords were Avatars and that it was the blade Skyshade the Aengels were after.

Raknar later became the Machine known as 8-I.S.
